Then, explore the castle interiors, the Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica, the delightfully quaint Golden Lane, and the stunning stained glass windows of St. Vitus Cathedral at your own pace.

During September and October, particularly around the Independent Czechoslovak State Day (Czech Independence Day), some buildings within the Prague Castle can be closed for operational and ceremonial reasons, such as the annual Crown Jewel Exhibition and award ceremony.

Before you buy

  • Children under 6 years old do not require a ticket to enter

On-site usage

  • Meet the representative holding a blue and white umbrella directly next to the obelisk at the Prague Castle, which is next to the St. Vitus Cathedral
  • Show your mobile voucher to the representative to receive the entry ticket
  • Please be on time. The representative will hold the ticket for max. of 15 minutes after the starting time and will provide a brief presentation about the castle at the time of your selected timeslot
  • How to get there by public transportation: Take tram number 22 and get off at Pražský hrad stop. Once you enter the castle grounds, continue straight to the Third Courtyard, the largest courtyard of Prague Castle, where you’ll find St. Vitus Cathedral
