Carisbrooke Castle

Carisbrooke Castle is an English-Heritage landmark on the Isle of Wight. Surrounded by romantic English countryside – rolling hills, green pastures, and the like – the medieval castle sits right in the middle of the island. Steeped in history and formerly a home to royal figures (Charles I was imprisoned there for over a year before his execution in the 17th century), Carisbrooke Castle tickets give you access to the entire grounds.
